I am learning to invite Jesus into my daily life. Even the moments that one would clasify as mundane. Like washing dishes, going for a walk or drive to the store, doing homework, making coffee. There are so many oppertunity for time with Jesus. He wants to do life with you! Even the boring moments
1 Corinthians 10:31~ So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do,do it all for the glory of God.
Colossians 3:23~ Whatever you do, work at it whole heartedly as though you were doing it for the Lord and not merely for people.
Have I ever thought that God also created you for the purpose of you loving Him with all your heart, mind and soul. And Him loving you with a crazy, unconditional love that is beyond our understanding!! Also to Love one another as brothers and sisters that are in a royal and large family!
Can we come to the realization that God already loves us! We dont need to act as servants to please Him and to recieve His live…becaue we already have that love. Can we just soak and enjoy Him. There is a place where we serve Him because we love him. But dont get cought up thinking that God only uses you to communicate His love for others and then forget that He loves you just as much.
God is the greatest artist. The sculpter of the mountains. The painter of the skies and heavens. The gardener of all fields and lands. The musician of all sounds and melodies. Let us be thankful.
How much can a person learn about God just by looking at creation?
I personally think I find myself in many situations where I question God. But this weeks topic really challenged my understanding of who He really is.
It is so sad that we even consider questioning God… since He is perfect. But questioning God comes with the lack of understanding of who He really is. Scripture is the place to go. Would you not want to know who you are building relationship with?
God is just & righteous (Gen 18:25 /9:14)
God is Holy (Isiah 6:3/ Rev 4:8)
God is good ( Mark 10:18)
God is True ( 1 John 5:20)
God is Merciful (Ephesians 2:4)
God is Love (1 John 4:8)
God is eternal (Psalm 90:2)
AND THERE IS A WHOLE BOOK WITH SO MUCH MORE TELLING YOU WHO YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS. THE BIBLE!
How many times have you asked God to give you somthing you felt you needed? And how many times have you felt God did not answer you?
Have you ever stopped to concider that in that moment you are not ready yet. That God is still preparing the soil in your heart. Our God does not do a half job. He finishes what He started (Philippians 1:6) and does it well.
This made so much sense to me. I have this great desire to walk out and just be a tool in God’s hand. But I did not give much thought to the fact that, a tool first has to be sharpened to be useful. A field first has to be plowed before God can plant the seed.The garden should first be tended to before there will be fruit.
Nothing just happens. It is a process. It can be painful at times. Because God puts you through trials and tests for you to overcome. So that you learn and walk out with more equipment and experience than you had before. God is a awesome God!
Detail matters! Your heart matters! Your voice matters! Your decisions matters! Because God uses those!
Waking up in the morning and choosing to pick up your cross and travel with Jesus throughout the rest of the day, is not easy, but it is the lifestyle you choose when you persue Jesus.
Sacrafice plays a major part in this journey for me. Dying to myself and allowing all of me to be available for Jesus is the most difficult sometimes. Because not being in control can make me feel uncomfortable. But reminding myself that Jesus always has better makes it easier each day.
Someone once said. You ask Jesus to bless and heal you. But your hands/heart is so full of nonsense that you got to do a good clean up. So Jesus can give you the new and beautiful. Make space inside. Throw out the garbage. It ain’t easy. But Jesus wants to help!!!! That is His heart for you since you where woven in your mothers womb!!!
One of the beautiful things about this place is that whoever u walk into is on FIRE for God! Everyone has something in common. And that is Jesus!
Second thing is the diversity. This base is filled with people from various nations. People from America, Brazil , Asia etc. That is when a person starts realizing the size of this world from a single individual.
The testimonies that is able to be shared with one another is such a masterpiece. There is unity, peace, family, availability, community and more. Laughter is a daily melody in the YWAM base.

Just a quick reminder. Doing life alone or even journeying alone is not a option. Even Jesus serrounded himself. Relashionship is key. Connection is powerful. Abba God works through people for you. And so does He use people to help you. You are a tool in His hands daily. ABBA GOD IS PRO-RELASHIONHSIPS!!!
Welcome to my journey! My name is Ambergail Huysamen. Born in 2002 on the 21st of March. And God has put it on my heart to share the next 6 months with all of you!
This YWAM (Youth With A Mission) course called ACTS 29, located in Cape Town Muizenberg, is such a blessing. It consist of a 3 month lectures course and then a 3 month outreach. Making my time here at YWAM a solid 6 months of persuing God in ways I could never imagine!
You probably confused as to why the course is called Acts 29. Because there are only 28 chapters in the Book of Acts! But the purpose of this title is to create a message and image. That the miracles, signs and wonders have not stopped. That we also play a role in the Kingdom of God. With His vision and love.
One major thing I am learning is starting a relationship with God. Hearing His voice. How to listen for His voice. How He speaks. How to differentiate who is speaking. The Desciples knew one of the steps is to PRAY.
The Desciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray because they knew that miracles, signs and wonders are just a byproduct of being in a relashionship with God.
Communication. The most obvious part of beginning a relationship. Prayer is God’s form conversation! Personally I got cought in the horrible habit of praying and not expecting God to speak back. I never thought it could be a dialogue. He did bless me with that which I asked for which is amazing…I did not doubt that He could not hear me… I just never thought he would want to talk to me in a informal manner.
Then the second day of the course we were given the following book to read. The title says it all!!
WOW…. This just awakens a hunger in me to persue God in the same way He has been persuing me for years. I want to love God back!!
What better way to love God than to spend time with Him!
